Deb Schwartzkopf Porcelain Pitcher

This is a large porcelain pitcher by the contemporary artist, Deb Schwartzkopf. The piece has a triangular base with multi-colored glazing. She focuses on manipulating forms and shapes, intentionally reacting to how an object is held or viewed in space. Schwartzkopf also draws inspiration from infusing useful objects with purposeful beauty.

Schwartzkopf received her BA in ceramics from the University of Alaska in 2002, and her MFA from Pennsylvania State University in 2005. She currently lives in Seattle where she also runs a community studio.
